June 06, 2006 | El tubo de Zaragoza I'The tube', in Zaragoza Zaragoza (Spain) El tubo ('The tube') was once one of the liveliest areas of Zaragoza city centre. Characterized by very narrow pedestrian little streets, where one could find the weirdest shops, bars and people, it has being almost abandoned during the last decade and most of the buildings are now ruined. That was part of a big property operation, and most of the area is now subject to complete renovation which will convert this part of the city in a sort of a big, modern, and colorless shopping centre. With this series of pictures I want to show the current state of 'El Tubo', and try capture a bit of the spirit it once had before it completely disappears.
