(Monegros landscape)

Monegros, in the Central Ebro basin, is one of the most arid regions in Spain. The hard landscape, however, offers many nice surprises.

In the picture: cereal crops and natural vegetation alternate in the Sierra de Alcubierre, creating a beautifull patchy landscape.
